Drug trafficking is a heavy national and world problem. Drugs generate a false illusion of hundreds of thousands of marginalized urban and rural, double morality of the capitalist merchants, corruption in government and the military, finally, the paramilitary forces. It suffices to recall the numerous judicial scandals that are so characteristic for the ruling class, corrupt and corrupt politicians, which is so much we have in Colombia.
Moreover, this phenomenon is a purely capitalist phenomenon, which should see the big macroeconomic problems of global scale: it is a big market, which has 20 million customers, equivalent to 20-30% of the global economy. Revenues from the drug trade exceeds the income from oil and on the second place is the sale of weapons. It is believed, for example, that of the “model” society, which today is available in the U.S., the growth of cocaine use would increase, more and more embraces boys and girls from 12 to 17 years, marijuana, which in this country has become so familiar, is the main commercial culture (already the technology of its cultivation, even in ordinary cabinets) and earns income in 3,2 billion dollars. A large part of Americans and Europeans – are those who have been trading chemicals for drug manufacturing process, who get most of the profits from drug trafficking, who are “stuck” in drugs, who sell drugs and chemicals, at the same time, anti-drug agents. And they, revolving in a vicious circle of drug trafficking, by all means look for excuses to his occupation and insolent interference in the affairs of other countries, as a solution to this problem is outside. Thus, they are cashing in on the trouble and invented a panacea for this disaster. At that time, both the prevention of drug use, the U.S. government has allocated only $ 250 million for fight against drugs in third world countries, and total that has been spent since 1891 on this problem is $ 21 billion.
Most drugs are produced in countries of South America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, entering the consuming countries through smuggling. Traditionally, the United States, Mexico, the European Union, Japan and Singapore in particular (where the traffic and consumption of drugs are punished with death) have imposed a zero tolerance policy for producer countries. However, in many countries, the cultivation of coca, and marijuana is an important source of livelihood to which they are not willing to abdicate. Moreover, psychotropic substances such as LSD, amphetamines and other synthetic substances such as ecstasy are produced in developed countries. In places where legislation restricts or prohibits the sale of certain popular drugs, it is vile development of a black market. Most countries consider drug trafficking a serious problem.
In 1989, the U.S. intervened in Panama with the purpose of ending the drug trade. The government of India conducted operations in the Middle East and the Indian peninsula itself to follow the trail of several drug traffickers. Some estimates put the global trade of illegal drugs worth about $ 400 billion in 2000, which increased, while the value of global trade in legal drugs (such as tobacco and alcohol), corresponds to an excess the money spent for food at the same time period. In 2005, the World Drug Report of the United Nations reported that the value of the illicit drug market was estimated at 13 billion dollars a production level of 94 billion at market price and over a trillion based on crop prices taking into account also the losses. It is sad that there is being spend so much money on solving this problem, but the drug dealers find new ways to produce and sell the drugs anyway. That is why preventive measures will be effective, limiting the possibility to produce drugs and to make more significant control over this situation all over the world. In the consumption of drugs all over the world, the world’s largest consumer on the market is the United States, followed by Europe. The world’s top producers are Afghanistan (opium), Peru and Colombia (cocaine).
