Buy an essay: Cultural Competencies and Boundaries

In this paper I would like to discuss the theme “Cultural Competencies and Boundaries”. The main goals of my work are to understand and learn how different cultures function, to prove a thesis that all clients are equal in their rights and before the law. That’s why; the social workers need to remember that in spite of people’s cultural, racial, social competency they should have only positive attitudes to them.
Part One: The social work
The social work is a professional work that has the main aim: to help people with their financial, health and social problems. The social workers provide lonely old people with foodstuffs and render to them other services. The social work is a useful occupation that organizes the help and mutual aid to the groups and people who have got in the difficult vital situations, their psychosocial rehabilitation and integration. In the general view, the social work represents the complex public phenomenon, independent area of scientifically-practical knowledge, a trade and a subject matter. Social workers help people to overcome problems and do their lives better. They can work with people who are homeless, sick or who have some family problems. Moreover, they can help students who have some troubles at school. The main goal of the social worker is to find the resources for people. For someone who has family difficulties, social workers need to find a support group or parenting class.

For homeless people, they should find a place where they can live and a career training program. For the students or pupils they ought to find a learning disability expert or an instructor. Some social workers adjust the resources like these. They investigate what types of help people require. Then, they adjust the programs in order to provide that help. They must concentrate on child abuse, cruel treatment with children, violence, poverty, and other problems. The social workers should have only positive attitudes to the peoples’ needs, not negative ones. Only warmth, sympathy and empathy are the attitudes that can make people feel safe. It does not matter what culture people belong to, the social worker needs to help everybody in spite of their cultural competency.
Part Two: To break down the barriers
The social employee ought to break down the cultural barriers and to overcome discomfort with a person who has culture different from their own.
The clients need to feel and know that the social workers are sincere and kind in caring for them. The questions about cultural barriers and inequality can wake up serious insults and the intense attitudes by themselves, in many situations they are closely connected with unequal processing and methods in the economic and political area. Discrimination against assured ethnic migrant groups in the employment area in many Western countries illustrates this item. In recent years, the importance of cultural identities and growth of people requirements, and in developed and developing countries, for respect and recognition of their ethnic accessory, religion, and language has involved widespread attention. All people are born free and equal irrespective of their culture, race and color. That’s why; the main goal of the social employee is to create favorable conditions for the clients.

Conclusion
Taking everything into consideration, I would like to admit that I discussed the above-stated theme, proved a thesis that the clients are equal before their rights and the social workers always should help them irrespective of their cultural competency.
