Jean Watson is a renowned nursing theorist, who has made a significant contribution to the development of nursing theory and practice in the 20th century. Many of her ideas are still relevant today and affect the development of nursing in the 21st century. Jean Watson worked in the field of nursing and developed healthcare practices oriented on human care and provision of effective nursing care services. Furthermore, the theoretical development of Jean Watson implies the environmental concerns of modern nurses and nursing care services. What is meant here is the fact that modern nurses cannot work in isolation from the environment of patients.
