The main aim of this paper is to explain infancy and toddlerhood behavior inabilities that are linked to sensory integration. I think that along with the desire to “correctly diagnose” the difficulties of the child’s development it is important to assess child’s short-and long term development and to orient the child, parents and teachers on the untapped possibilities of “natural” development, which Nature has blessed the huge amount of everyone.
We know that there are many different problems in sensory integration and they are seen at various ages and in our case, we will talk about infancy and toddlerhood age. There are several typically seen problems and in infancy age one problem can be determined as difficulties of understanding of movement in space and also body position. It is in the way to child’s development and in such situations appeared the term “regulatory disorder” that it is described as overwhelming of babies normal sensory input. It accompanied with infant’s often crying and trouble sleeping, also we can find inability to process internal and environmental inputs that provoke above mentioned child’s cry. Continuing our talk we should say that variation of behaviour in toddlerhood is also described as big difficulties with any transitions, for example getting out or getting in of the bathtub or situations when it is necessary to leave the house and go somewhere.
Thus, we can say for the conclusion that often a child without any problems from the sensory organs and without movement disorders demonstrates behaviour that indicates the difficulty of processing the incoming information, its correlation with previous experience and the formation of responses. It is about different kinds of violations of sensory integration (sensory protection, reduction reaction, avoidance of movement, etc.). Behavioural manifestations may have very different character: the child can close own ears from loud noises that other people endure quite well, avoid solid food, afraid to walk the stairs, while in own apartment, child can be quite nimble.

In my opinion, in such cases specialist important to be able to see beyond the secondary emotional, behavioural characteristics of the primary violation. Remedial work with children with sensory-integrative dysfunction consists of several stages. One of the main tasks is to form a child’s ability to realize own primarily solid experience and teach children to respond appropriately to certain situations.
