I’d like to describe in this paper my opinion about Denver Art Museum and I want to do it after it visiting not so much time ago. First of all it is necessary to mention that I was really impressed by this place and I like it very much. I think that I should begin my paper from the building of Denver Art Museum description. We understand that it is an intricate problem, but designers and architects made their best and embody their ideas in very good way. Apparently, it is desirable for all to glorify not only the works but also own personality and visiting Denver Art Museum I understand that it was created by prominent people. In general, I offer to estimate one of the most unusual museums of the world, because it is unusual not only due to its wonderful maintenance, but also due to incredible architecture and design. I like to repeat a phrase that it is better to see something one time than for several times listen to people who visited this place. Denver Art Museum became the greatest museum of art on the USA territory from Chicago to the west coast. Its building consists of large geometrical elements that all together are the single system, surprising visitors by its original appearance.
Visiting Denver Art Museum I was impressed not only by its building, architecture, but of course its exhibits greatly influenced on me. It was pleasant to me understand that prices on tickets are not high at all (something between 20-7$, it depends on visitors age), and it allows people to visit it without big problem for family budget. I was also interested in its history and now I feel that it is necessary to share my knowledge with you. As we know Denver Art Museum is one of the most popular museums in the city. It was founded in 1893 and today its collection is counted something about 60 000 works of art of different countries and epochs. Authentic pearl of museum is considering collection of the applied art of American Indians, and also miniatures of Central America of the period before the continent opening. For a long time collections of museum wandered on temporal apartments: public library, a few mansions in the center of the city, building of city administration… Only in 1949 a museum got an own apartment. For example, I think that the external forms of building reflect its internal device exactly. The authors of project offered the large spectrum of differentsizes spaces of very intricate forms. On an entrance I like its visitor get in an atrium in 37,2 m in high, piercing building through. It is formed by walls, located under different corners to each other; I see that among them there is no single vertical wall. Prolate upwards space looks like old creature that meanders in primitive dance. All of it lights up the lantern of skylight, and the whimsical shadows of unusual configuration appear on walls. Frankly speaking, it is very fascinate design.
Thus, taking into account all above mentioned and also analyzing my own attitude to this museum I want to recommend it to all well-educated people, who are interested in the general level of culture increasing and who likes American culture and traditions. I think that it is a museum for all nationalities and every person can find something interesting for itself. Reviewing Denver Art Museum I understand that I want to visit this place one more time and feel this wonderful atmosphere of mysterious old things and look one more time on its interesting exhibits.
