Peaceful settlement of disputes

Article 2 of the Charter of the United Nations indicates that the countries should settle their disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered. The principle of peaceful settlement of any debates and maintenance of secure order should be preferential. There is nothing more important than the ability to establish and to keep the peace between countries in a certain region.

Non-intervention in the internal affairs of other states

This is another principle of international relations and law, The non-intervention principles guarantees the right of every sovereign state to conduct its affairs without outside interference.

Respect for human rights

Human rights always were a number one priority for the United Nations. Every human has rights of individuals in society for well-being, dignity, for secure environment and fair justice. Human rights entered the language of political discourse only three centuries ago. They were often respected in practice for a wide variety of religious, cultural, and social reasons only vaguely related to the reasons we usually cite for observing rights today.(Preus, 17)

In the context of the unstable situation and negotiation about the nuclear status of the certain countries of the Middle East region, it is expected that the governments should think about their citizens, if their human rights are not being taken from them or somehow disturb.

I think it’s important that Mohamed El-Baradei compared the situation in Iran and Iraq and reminded the public that the human rights of many citizens of Iraq were disturbed because of intervention. Governments and leaders should think first of all about their people, and not about anything else.
