North Korea is an isolated country and we can never be certain in its policies and decisions taken by North Korean leader. In fact, the country is focused entirely on the maintenance of the communist regime and its leader has unlimited power. Therefore, decisions concerning the future of North Korea depend entirely on North Korean leader.
Nevertheless, I should admit that you may be right in your critical view on North Korean leader and North Korean politics. However, I believe that you should avoid superficial, western view on the political situation in North Korea and you would better attempt to view the situation from within.
