Leighton Company is a successful company operating internationally. Today, the company performs well, although Leighton Company has suffered from the recent economic recession and the drop of the buying power of consumers. Nevertheless, at the moment the company keeps growing and expanding its operations internationally.
In order to evaluate the current position and development of Leighton Company the ECM model was used. The ECM model was chosen because this model allows to assess the current position of the company on the ground of the qualitative performance of the company and its marketing performance. In fact, this model is flexible enough to be applied to different units of the company that may be located in different countries of the world.
At the present moment, the intrinsic value of the company keeps growing slightly. In this regard, it is worth mentioning the fact that the company’s growth rate comprised 1,5% last year. At first glance, such insignificant growth cannot have a substantial impact on the position of the company in the market but still at the level of international market expansion and the economic recession the growth marks the positive trend in the development of the company. At the same time, the cost of equity increased by 1.2% that is quite natural in terms of the market expansion.
In such a situation, the company should carry on its policy and Leighton Company is worth investing in because it enters new market sand keeps growing. The growth in time of the economic recession is a good indicator of the stability and good marketing prospects of the company. In addition, the company keeps growing steadily that proves its focus on the long-lasting expansion strategy that need investments and can bring substantial return on investments.
