 Diet. Unbalanced nutrition, regular consumption of high-calorie, fat and sweet foods, can be the main cause of gaining weight. Children usually like fast foods, baked goods, soft drinks, candy and desserts . Foods and drinks like these are high in fat, sugar and amount of calories.
 Inactive lifestyle. Sedentary kids are more likely to gain weight, because physical activity burn calories. So such inactive activities as watching television, playing video and computer games, contribute to the problem.  Psychological factors. The problem of eating disorders among young is a hot issue. Some children overeat because of depression, to deal with emotions, such as stress or boredom.
 Socioeconomic factors. It’s a pity, but not all people today have an access to qualitative and healthy food. So low-income parents may lack resources for healthy food, good medication and sport trainings. That is why poverty and obesity often are connected.
