Asserting the right of the individual to refuse to obedience immoral (according to the participants of the rebellion) laws or “illegal” ruling regime, the proponents of these actions emanate from the possibility of situations where individual is right and the government is not. The practice of civil disobedience recognized as an active violation of the law, and passive neglect of its requirements, as the commission of unlawful acts and disobedience to generally accepted standards.
Furthermore, civil disobedience, that is based on personal moral beliefs, should be a public act which requires public recognition and support. Organizers of such shares generally try to make them accessible to the public and sway public opinion to justify illegal acts. Civil disobedience can apply a variety of tactics for collective action – mass rallies, strikes, boycotts, to undermine the regime’s ability to ensure law-abiding population. The degree of success of such activities depends also on how the government is prepared to use violence or harsh judgments to suppress outbreaks of civil disobedience.
