Ladies and gentlemen, I want to share with you information about the problem of diabetes, and hope you will understand it’s importance, and won’t stay indifferent.
Today it is necessary to pay attention to the one of the most important problem, that bores people all over the world – it is a problem of diabetes. According to the World Health Organization today on Earth are about 200 million diabetics, and the number of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) in the world doubles every 15 years. And by the year 2025 their number may reach 334 million, which would represent more than 6% of people all over the world.( World health Organisation)
Diabetes reduces life of millions of people on the planet, and if you do not take certain measures to prevent the spread of disease, then the epidemic will lead to a crisis of global health.
There is no country in the world which does not suffer from the problem of diabetes, so it is also hot in the U.S.
The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF) is a charitable organization that support research programs of a Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. This organization was founded in 1970, and now is a world leader in cure-focused research. (Diabetes Research Institute Foundation)
Despite the fact that the level of modern medicine allows much more successful against this disease, none of the experts is not reassuring. The problem is that there must be adequate medical support to the growing number of people with diabetes who are at the mercy of either insulin or from drug therapy. That is why the research made by DRI are so important.
The DRI has made significant contributions to the field of diabetes research, so it is very important to support it’s practices.
The work of the organization seeks to address help to children in the form of charitable donations from sponsors and patrons, as well as to provide material, technical, informational, legal and humanitarian assistance in the charitable activities and programs.
The main objectives of the Organization:
– Attracting sponsorship and charitable aid from organizations and individuals;
– Provision of charitable assistance in the field of health, in accordance with the main purpose of the fund;
– Assistance in acquiring by medical institutions advanced medical and biological technologies, devices that enhance the health of patients;
– Facilitate the organization of refresher training for doctors and nurses;
– Facilitate the organization of medical diagnostic care to seriously ill people, children and their families;
– Carrying out charitable activities;
– Promotion of prevention, protection, rehabilitation of children, promotion of healthy lifestyles and improving the moral and psychological climate in society.( Diabetes Research Institute Foundation)
All this activities of the charitable organization are vitally important for curing of hundreds and thousands of people. That is why it is important for diabetics, and for the whole country, just any help that can in some small way alleviate the situation.
The main thing – not to be indifferent when so much people really need help. Helping the patient, you eased his suffering, perhaps you give him a chance at life.
Your help gives a sense of confidence in the fact that human life and health is important to you, and that there are people to whom patient can rely on in difficult times. Help is also a big psychological support for patients and their relatives. So please don’t stay indifferent and stretch a helping hand, as mutual help and support – is the foundation of our society!
