It goes without saying that contemporary tendencies are dealing with the shift from the Western countries to China. Every big corporation opens there either department or moves manufacturing powers as the cheap labor force in China creates huge opportunities for the global development. It goes without saying that it causes expat of the core specialists from the West. High qualified western specialists are eager to perform in the western companies and as it usually happened the meet a number of cultural peculiarities and difficulties, which create significant turnover among the high qualified staff in the companies. It should be noted that Western and Eastern approach to business differ a lot and this create significant problems. A good example would be the difference in leadership style: “Chinese executives are more inclined to give orders, which the rank and file is expected to follow. They also have a more “affiliative” management style, putting people first, tasks second. For their part, Western leaders lean more toward a coaching style of management with an aim to inspire, guide and engage staff around a shared vision” (the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, 2010).
The country is passing through the global assimilation process and to ease this impact it would be necessary to develop according the certain demands of contemporary cultural peculiarities of business. The expat could study the peculiarities of the work performance and decide whether this suitable for him/her or not.
One of the most stressful organizational issues within the Chinese business is multi-taskers need. Western specialists usually deal with narrow specialists and their work performance also deal with quite narrow obligations and demands, it goes without saying that such demands to the high qualified specialists puzzle them. This fact could be addressed due the lack of high qualified specialists.
