In The Norton Anthology of American Literature, Volume B, there is poem of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow “The Fire of Driftwood” which depicts the beauty of the country he lived in. His description of the town he saw is a bit sad, but it is written with deep loving feelings to his country “Not far away we saw the port, The strange, old-fashioned, silent town, The lighthouse, the dismantled fort, The wooden houses, quaint and brown”. So, Margaret Fuller, in the work “The complete text of The Great Lawsuit” tells the thoughts about how it would be great to know clearly what we want”. It is written “Could we, indeed, say what we want, could we give a description of the child that is lost, he would be found. As soon as the soul can say clearly, that a certain demonstration is wanted, it is at hand” (Baym. pp. 1622-1624).
