Soil pollution
Soil is the source of food and nutrition. If it’s polluted with the toxic waste it means that the food is polluted with it too. What is soil pollution? It happens of Earth’s land surface is polluted by “industrial, commercial, domestic and agricultural activities” (“Invisible Air Pollution”, 20)
Chemicals, industrial wastes and radioactive clash are the major pollutants of soil. There is a strong connection between soil pollution, water pollution, and air pollution.
There are many ways of environment pollution. These different kinds of pollution are connected and influence each other. For example, soil pollution can lead to water pollution if chemicals will be soaked into groundwater.
The dramatic changes are happening right now, at this very moment. Because of the pollution, our life becomes more challenged, people are disturbed and not in a good health.
Pollution is incredibly serious problem and we desperately need a lifesaving decision to be made.
Technology, industrialization, and urbanization – these factors give the comfort to our lives, but at the same time they also endanger life on our planet, because they cause huge levels of pollution.
We should be aware of the environmental problems and respect the environment in our everyday lives. Our purpose is “to make the world a healthier living experience”.
Currently, there is a positive tendency when technology becomes friendlier to nature and life. It helps to clean the pollution with the help of water treatment plants, air purifiers and others.
And finally, I’d like to mention the ways to prevent pollution for anyone:
“Buying water-based or low-solvent paints and glues;
Avoiding burning solid fuels;
Driving less;
Not lighting bonfires – particularly not when pollution levels are already high or when the weather is still and cold;
Never burning household waste, especially plastic, rubber, foam or paint.” (“Invisible Air Pollution”, 20)
