Unemployment
Today, unemployment is probably one of the major challenges to the current policies of the US Government. What is meant here is the fact that the recent economic recession has provoked consistent job cuts which increased the unemployment rate consistently. As a result, many Americans are deprived of an opportunity to take a job, which is their right. Instead, illegal immigrants are employed in low- and semi-qualified jobs, which Americans in the time of economic crisis are ready to do but cannot take these jobs because illegal immigrants are ready to work for lower wages.
High crime rates
In addition, the illegal immigration raises the problem of the high crime rates. It proves beyond a doubt that illegal immigrants live in poverty stricken neighborhoods where crime rates are extremely high. At the same time, the high crime rates are determined by the poverty of the local population and illegal immigrants are in a desperate position because legally they do not have a right to receive any assistance from the part of the state, whereas the existing aide is not enough to maintain the social stability and prevent the growth of crime rates.
Education
Furthermore, education another problem that illegal immigration affects consistently. The population of the US suffers from the lack of financial resources to maintain education system and Americans living in the US, who are citizens of the US have the right to get education, which is equal right that does not admit any form of discrimination. However, illegal immigrants do need health care services but they do not have either rights or money to pay of health care services they receive. As a result, the state has to spend money on illegal immigrants instead of increasing funding of education of local schools.
Health care issues
Finally, health care issues are also closely intertwined with the problem of illegal immigration. The ban of illegal immigration could improve the situation in the national health care system because the local and federal budget cannot maintain programs to cover all the cost spent on certain groups of immigrants. Naturally, illegal immigrants are not secured that increases the risk of deteriorating situation in the health care system because illegal immigrants do not have health insurance and money the local authorities or state budget spend on the maintenance of health care system could be used more effectively.
Constitutional protection of immigrants
Illegal immigrants are deprived of constitutional rights
It proves beyond a doubt that in such a situation the question concerning the constitutionality of existing cases of violation of human rights is forbidden. Formally, the Constitution of the US protects all of its citizens and grants the power and authority to use the military forces in case of aggression. In such a situation, Constitutional rights are expanded on citizens of the US solely, whereas non-citizens, i.e. illegal immigrants are deprived of Constitutional rights other Americans do have just because they do not have the legal rights as long as they are not citizens of the US.
Arizona Bill
In this respect, the introduction of legislative initiatives at the local level can stimulate the higher authorities to undertake bold steps toward the decision on its immigration issues. As a result, the US authorities at both state and federal levels attempt to introduce laws which can limit the immigration to the US. However, such measures have little effect but losing federal grants. The legislative initiatives in the US aim at the reduction and restriction of illegal immigration to the US. In this respect, it is worth mentioning the Arizona Bill, which is actually supposed to be a good measure to stop the illegal immigration for this bill gives police in the state broad new powers to arrest and charge people suspected of being in the country illegally. The Arizona Bill reveals the fact that such measures are arguable from the federal point of view and implies the establishment of the qualitatively high level of development of illegal immigrants that they are traditionally associated with as a sort of immigrants. At the same time, the Arizona Bill proves one more time that the use of such laws as Arizona Bill rather provokes conflicts within the native community. On the other hand, illegal immigrants cannot be protected by employees because they do not have Constitutional rights of the US as long as they are not immigrants of the US.
Thus, in conclusion, it is important to lay emphasis on the fact that immigration laws cannot operate effectively as long as illegal immigrants do not match the US Constitution because they are not the UIS Constitutions.
