Reflective Report on Health care

Traditionally, working in a team is one of the essential conditions of the effective work of health care professionals. In this regard, my recent experience of team work has proved to be quite effective for me and my professional development, especially taking into consideration the fact that we conducted the study, which was very important for me. In such a way, conducting a study in a team was very important experience for me in terms of my professional development.
In fact, the research we conducted in our team contributed to the better understanding of the subject we studied and to my professional development as a future RN. In such a way, our research contributed to the development of my analytical skills and critical thinking. I have managed to focus on the study of specific issues and on the practical implementation of my professional knowledge in the course of the study.
At this point, working in a team was particularly important for my professional and personal development. To put it more precisely, working in a team contributed to the development of specific skills, such as communication skills, organizational skills, and others. In such a way, the development of the new experience of working in a team was important for my professional development. In fact, this experience revealed me new aspects of team work. For instance, I understood the full extent to which the effective cooperation between team members is essential for the effective team work. What I mean is the fact that team members should be able to communicate with each other and comprehend each other properly. Otherwise, conflicts in the team are inevitable. At any rate, we have a conflict in our team caused by the poor communication between team members but we have managed to solve the conflict as we started to discuss the problem.
My experience of working in a team and conducting the detailed research affected consistently my future practice as a RN (Mohrman, 1998). In fact, this experience contributed to my professional development and I will definitely use skills and experience I have acquired in the course of my team work. In such a way, I have managed to use my experience for my future work.
Furthermore, team work is always complicated because individuals comprising teams may have different needs, according to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs (Peters, 2002). In fact, our team had to focus on the effective cooperation between team members but each team member has his or her own needs and expectations. The team should meet needs of each team member to increase the effectiveness of each team member.
In addition, each team has a leader, who has to elaborate an effective leadership style to lead the team and to reach positive outcomes of the team work and research as our team did (Schein, 1999). Furthermore, my experience was useful and helped me to meet graduate attributes such as the development of my professional skills and my ability to work in a team. Therefore, my experience of working in a team contributed to my professional development and helped me to enhance my position as a future RN.
Thus, taking into account all above mentioned, it is important to place emphasis on the fact that conducting the research and working in a team is helpful for professional development of a future RN.
